Laying slabs for new pens.
A qualified electrician for wiring up lights and heating in the pens.

Fundraising Co-ordinator
Are you willing to organise events and co-ordinate volunteers?
We need somebody with fresh ideas to raise our profile and provide our little branch with much needed funds.
No experience necessary, only enthusiasm.
Please let us know if you can help.

|
Fundraisers
If you enjoy meeting
people, helping organise
events
and have some time to spare,
we desparately need help with fundraising.
As a branch we all seem to do work with cats,
but are not very good at
fundraising.
We need imaginative people with some good ideas and a
little time to impliment them.
If you would like to get involved then
please contact us.

Home Visitors
Can you spare half an hour a week?
Home visits involve going to visit potential new owners to establish what sort of cat would fit in with their lifestyle.
All training is provided.
Why not get a friend involved and do the home visits together.
All
home requests through Cats Protection have to be visited, so without
our home visitors we can't home any cats - thats how vital you are!!!
So please help our cats find new homes.

Mornings 9am - 1pm

Phone Operators
We are in need of Phone Operators at present.
Our phone operators man the phones between 9am and 7pm, Monday to Friday (we do one day each).
We deal with people offering homes, reporting lost and found cats,
offering help, requests to help rehome cats and general inquiries.
If you have a good telephone manner, patient and are able to be at home
during the day (except for picking the kids up from school etc.)
If you would like to get involved then
please contact us.

Drivers
Do
you own a vehicle?
When a cat is reported to us sometimes they need to be picked up and
taken to the vets, delivered to a fosterer or have their photo taken
for our website.
If you can offer one hour each week,
then please contact us.

|
Fosterers
At present we cannot afford anymore outdoor fosterers, not without increasing our fundraising.
We are still looking for people who ideally do not have any pets of
their own, we need help with some of our harder to home, long stay
or timid cats.
So if you cannot have a cat on a permanent basis, but would like the companionship for what time you are available.
Please get in touch.
Note - all of our cats are up for adoption and looking for new homes.

Feral Officer
(Feral = Wild)
Our
Feral officer is supposed to be retired but there's no-one come forward to fill her shoes.
This work involves trapping cats or kittens which are too timid to be
approached or handled. Sometimes they are brought into our care to be
socialised, homed as farm cats or they are neutered and returned to
site.
If you are interested in the welfare of all cats and want to get involved then please contact us.
|

|
Publicity Officer
You will be working alongside our homing, fundraising and welfare teams
to advertise events, campaigns and help us to find homes for some
of our harder to home cats.
So if you're good with people and love cats then please get in touch.
